Radio-TV-Recording Artist Jeff Buckles is no stranger to Gospel Music. Jeff began singing and playing drums in his family singing group when he was 9 years old. His family group known as The Gospel Tones traveled for 30 years as a regional group covering a six state area. During this time he has recorded several albums with his family. Jeff has also performed solo at churches and various functions. Jeff still performs with his family on occasion.

While a member of The Gospel Tones and as a soloist, he has performed on stage with many great southern gospel artists such as James Blackwood and the Blackwood Brothers, J.D. Sumner and the Stamps Qt., R. W. and the Blackwood Singers, Jimmy Blackwood, The Texans, The Mike Payne Family, Frankie Valens, Bob Harrington, Chaplain of Bourbon St., The Whitey Gleason Trio, Naomi and the Sego’s and Jeff has toured with Vern Jackson of Trinity Broadcast Network. Jeff has also worked in the entertainment and music industry with such artists as Jody Miller of Capital and Epic Records, Barbara Fairchild, Daywind Records, Ronnie Shell, Actor for Disney and “Gomer Pyle, USMC” , Mike Connolly, Actor in TV Series “Renegade”. Hollywood Actor and Tap Dancer Leonard Reed, Former Miss Alabama and Mabeline Model Denise Davis and many others.

Jeff’s first solo recording was with Priority 1 Records and was released nationwide December 14, 2002. Jeff now records on New Life Talent Records. His music is played by several radio stations across America and overseas. Jeff has also appeared on Trinity Broadcast Network affiliate stations and on ABC affiliate stations. In February, 2005 the song “I’m Living With Heaven In Mind” made the Top 100 charts on the European Christian Country Chart and as of April, 2005 had moved up the charts. In 2006 the song “The Only Reason I Look Back” landed in the Top 100 of the International Country Music Charts and in Top 100 of the Worldwide Country Music Chart. Jeff has recorded many solo projects in his lifetime as well as producing many albums for music artists and recording studios across the United States.

Raised in a Christian home Jeff is one of six children, his father was an ordained minister for forty years. Jeff’s mother kept everyone in food and clothes while on the road. His love for Jesus and his love for gospel music have been his cornerstone for many years.
